Regular Season Round 14: Decin - Dziki 70-72

There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked PolishDziki (6-2) edged 10th ranked Czech Decin (6-2) 72-70 on Friday. Dziki trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 21-14 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Dziki forced 25 Decin turnovers. Strangely Decin outrebounded Dziki 45-28 including a 23-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Point guard Piotr Galazka (184-2009) fired 19 points for the winners. Mateusz Nieweglowski (193-2009) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. point guard Marek Houska (194-2009) produced 25 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Krystof Kotek added 14 points and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Decin's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Dziki have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain twelfth place with 6-2 record, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Decin .
